Fly screen or mosquito net?
They are the same thing. In the UAE people say fly screen for a mesh in a frame, and mosquito net for almost any mesh on a window or door.
What matters is how the screen opens. Fixed frames stay put, sliding screens run on a track, roller screens wind into a box, hinged ones swing like a door.

A sliding screen on its own track, or a pleated screen for a door.
A fixed frame or roller screen fits a hinged or tilt window.

Is the opening wider than a normal door?
A framed screen that wide sags. Look at pleated Double Centra or Proxima.

Where another mosquito screen works better
Some openings are better served by another mosquito screen.
Wide glass doors
Large frames sag and swing badly. Pleated screens cover wide openings better (AED 1,550 per patio door).
A roller on a door
Roller screens are made for windows, not for walking through.
Glass you clean from outside often
A fixed frame has to come out first. A roller or pleated screen never needs to come out.

Are fly screens and mosquito nets different?+
No. Both names mean a mesh in a frame that keeps insects out. The type of frame is what you choose.
Can I take a fixed frame out for cleaning?+
Yes. It lifts out of its clips, and you rinse the mesh with water and mild soap.
Do you come from Dubai for one window?+

My old fly screen is torn. Can you only change the mesh?+
Yes, if the frame is sound. New standard mesh is AED 200 per screen.
