A reinforced mosquito screen has a thicker, tougher mesh than standard, for doors and windows that take knocks from hands, toys and wind. It costs AED 600 per m², AED 200 more than standard. Many people search for a security screen: ours keeps insects out and stands up to wear, but it does not stop a break-in.

Wind, sand and sun on Dubai screens
On high floors a gust presses the mesh like a sail, and a thin yarn starts to bulge. Shamal grit rubs at it, and a west facing screen bakes all afternoon.
Brush off the sand and hose the mesh down gently once in a while. When a screen tears, new standard mesh in your frame costs AED 200, metal AED 300 and aluminium AED 350.

Stop a break-in
Mesh in an aluminium frame is not a burglar barrier. For that you need a grille, a security screen and good locks.
Hold out against claws
A climbing cat hooks its claws in and tears through. For pets choose pet mesh at AED 800 per m².
Filter fine dust
Its yarn is thicker, its weave no finer. For sand and dust take anti dust mesh at AED 800 per m².

Is a reinforced mosquito screen a security screen?+
No. It is a stronger insect mesh that stands up to knocks and wind. It is not tested against break-in and we do not sell it as protection.
Do you install steel security screen doors?+
No. We make and fit mosquito screens only: aluminium frames with standard, reinforced, pet and other meshes. For a steel security door, ask a specialist security company.
How much does a reinforced mosquito screen cost in Dubai?+
AED 600 per m² from our price list, against AED 400 for standard mesh. A 1 m² window comes to AED 600.
Does reinforced mesh keep mosquitoes out as well as standard?+
Yes. It stops mosquitoes and flies the same way. The yarn is thicker, so the view is a touch softer.
Is reinforced mesh enough for a dog that jumps at the door?+
Not for claws. For a dog or a cat, pet mesh at AED 800 per m² is the right choice.
Can reinforced mesh go into my old frame?+
Send a photo of the frame on WhatsApp. If it is straight and sound, new mesh may be enough; the measurer confirms it and names the price.
Is there a warranty on reinforced screens?+
Yes. The frame is covered for 5 years, the mechanism and the fitting for 2 years each.
