A pleated mosquito net is fine mesh folded like an accordion. You draw it across a door or window when you need it, and it folds into a slim cassette when you do not. We fit six PVL systems in Dubai, up to 8 m wide. From AED 380 per window, AED 670 per door, AED 1,550 per patio door.

How a pleated mosquito net works
The mesh is pressed into narrow folds and runs between a top rail and a low bottom track. Cords pass through every fold and keep it flat wherever you stop the handle bar.
Open, the screen folds into a slim cassette and stays on the frame all year.

Which pleated system for your opening?
Does the door or window slide open?
Centra sits in the middle of the frame, Uno at the side jamb.
Uno fits hinged doors and windows; a French pair takes Double Centra.
Is the opening wider than 3.5 m?
Proxima closes it with one panel, Double Centra with two halves.
One Uno or Centra panel covers it.
Is it a small window, or a corner with no post?
Vertica closes a small window from the top; Corner closes both sides of a corner.

How much is a pleated mosquito net in Dubai?+
From AED 380 per window, AED 670 per ordinary door and AED 1,550 per sliding balcony or patio door. French and double doors start from AED 810; glass walls and corners are priced at the survey.
Is a pleated fly screen the same as a retractable one?+
Many companies call pleated screens retractable, because the mesh retracts into a cassette. A retractable roller screen winds its mesh onto a spring roller instead.
What makes a pleated screen premium rather than cheap?+
The parts that move: cords, runners, catches and the profile. Ours have a powder coated aluminium profile, Italian components and 0.8 × 0.8 mm mesh, with 5 years on the frame.
How do the cords work, and do they tangle?+
They run through the folds from the top rail to the bottom track and keep the mesh taut. They sit inside the pleats and the profile, so nothing hangs loose.
Is the bottom track a trip hazard for children or older parents?+
It is a low flat strip that you step over, and nothing swings or springs back at a child. That is why pleated screens suit doors the family uses all day.
How wide and tall can a pleated screen go?+
Up to 8 m wide with Proxima or Double Centra, and up to 4 m high with the PVL 39 profile. One panel of Uno or Centra goes to 3.5 m.
How do I clean a pleated screen after a shamal?+
Leave it on the frame. Vacuum the folds and the track with a soft brush, then wipe the mesh with a damp sponge, no solvents.
Is a plisse mosquito net the same as a pleated one?+
Yes. Plisse is the French word for pleated. Pleated flyscreens, concertina, accordion and foldable mosquito nets all mean the same folded mesh.
