What is built here

The gardens by the houses are the key local detail. Irrigation and greenery hold moisture in a dry climate, and in the evening insects gather in the planting. That is exactly why in a suburb with gardens screens are needed more than in bare quarters the same distance out.
Second: the plots are large, the house stands free and the wind moves about. On garden doors light constructions bang, and people take rigid ones.
Third: a villa has many openings, and closing them one at a time works out dearer. Here it makes sense to price the whole house.
Fourth: dust in the suburb comes off the open ground between houses and off the roads. It is coarser than building dust and washes out more easily, but there is a lot of it.
