“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Al Ain villa homes: fly screens and garden doors
Al Ain is a low city of villas with walled gardens, so most mosquito nets go on garden doors and ground floor windows. A pleated screen on a sliding garden door is AED 1,550, a hinged screen door from AED 810, a window screen from AED 380. Visits to Al Ain are by arrangement: send photos first, then we plan the trip.

The Garden City of the emirate
Al Ain is known as the Garden City: tree-lined streets, parks and oases watered by old falaj channels. In 2011 its cultural sites became the first UNESCO World Heritage listing in the UAE.
Height rules keep the city low, mostly villas behind garden walls and small blocks. It borders Al Buraimi in Oman, with Jebel Hafeet rising to the south.

Dry heat, dust and watered gardens
Inland Al Ain is drier than the coast, and the wind carries dust. Anti-dust mesh at AED 800 per m² keeps sills cleaner on the windward side.
Watered gardens and palm groves hold moisture, and that is where mosquitoes breed. Screen every room that opens to the garden, not only the bedroom.
Before we plan the Al Ain trip
Are some windows arched at the top?
We make custom-shape frames that follow the arch, priced after measuring.
Standard frames or pleated screens fit.
Does a big dog use the garden door?
A hinged screen door with reinforced mesh at AED 600 per m² holds up better than pleated mesh.
A pleated screen suits the door.
Are there old screens to fix as well?
Add them to the same message: new mesh is from AED 200 per screen.
We plan the trip around the new screens.
Straight answers
When a pleated mosquito net fails
Pleated screens suit most garden doors, not all of them.
A door used by a big dog
Pleated mesh is light. A hinged screen door with reinforced mesh takes the push.
A window with an arch
Pleated systems need a rectangle. A custom-shape frame follows the curve.
