PVL Double Centra is a pleated mosquito screen made of two panels drawn from the sides to the centre, where they join. It is built for wide sliding doors and windows, up to 8 m across with the PVL 39 or PVL 29 profile. It starts from AED 810, and the free survey confirms the exact price.

How the two pleated mosquito screens meet
Each half of Double Centra folds into its own cassette at a jamb. Draw both handle bars towards the centre and the two pleated panels close together in the middle.
Villa doors to the garden in Arabian Ranches or Damac Hills are often wider than one panel can span. With the width split in two, each handle bar travels only half the opening.
Fold both halves back and the full doorway is clear for a sofa delivery or a party on the lawn.

Widths are for the full opening closed by both panels. Height and width limit each other, so the measurer picks the profile on site.

When Double Centra is not the answer
Two panels are not always better than one.
A line in the middle of the view
Where the two bars meet you see a thin vertical line. If you want the pool view without it, ask about Proxima.
A balcony door in a tower
One leaf slides and the opening is narrow. Centra or Uno do it with one panel at AED 1,550 per door.
No room at one jamb
Each half needs its own cassette at the side. Where a wall or a kitchen unit blocks one side, the measurer suggests another layout.

How much does Double Centra cost?+
From AED 810. The free survey confirms the exact price by width, height and profile. For reference, one pleated screen on a standard patio door is AED 1,550 on our price list.
Do mosquitoes get in where the halves join?+
No. The two handle bars close against each other in the centre, and the fitters set them so the join stays tight.
How wide can Double Centra go?+
Up to 8 m with PVL 39 or PVL 29 without mesh overlap. For glass up to 4 m high the limit is 6 m wide with PVL 39.
Can Double Centra go on a window?+
Yes. It is made for wide sliding windows as well as doors, such as a long living room window in a villa.
Do I need a NOC from my community?+
Some Dubai communities and management companies ask for one before anything changes on a villa facade. Check with yours before the survey.
