How much does a mosquito net cost in Dubai?+
From AED 350 per m² with standard mesh. A window of 1.5 by 1.2 m is 1.8 m², which comes to AED 630 before the survey confirms the sizes.
What does a pleated screen for a balcony door cost?+
AED 1,550 per patio or balcony door from our price list. Pleated screens for windows, corners and unusual sizes are priced after the survey.
Is the survey really free?+
Yes, anywhere in Dubai. The measurer comes with mesh samples, measures every opening and confirms the price.
Pleated or fixed frame screen: which do I need?+
A fixed frame screen suits a window you do not walk through, and it is the lower price. A pleated screen suits a door: the mesh folds aside when you pass and draws back across after.
Will I trip over the bottom track of a pleated screen?+
No. It runs in a low flat track that you step over, so it works for trolleys, children and older parents.
Which mesh keeps out sand and dust?+
Anti-dust mesh at AED 800 per m². Its weave is finer than standard, so it holds back more fine dust, and it needs rinsing more often.
Do you have mesh a cat cannot tear?+
Pet resistant mesh at AED 800 per m² takes claws far better than standard mesh. It keeps a pet in, but no screen is a fall barrier for a child or an animal leaning on it.
Can the screen frame match my window frames?+
Yes. We powder coat the aluminium profile in the RAL colour of your frames. Painting is AED 250 per running metre.
Can you re-mesh a screen that another company fitted?+
Usually yes. New standard mesh is AED 200 per screen. Metal mesh costs AED 300 and aluminium mesh AED 350. Send a photo first.
Do I need approval from my building or community?+
Some towers and communities ask for a NOC for any change to windows and doors. Check with your building management or developer before the survey date.
Can I have screens in a rented flat?+
Yes, with your landlord's agreement, because the screen is fixed to the window or door frame.
Do you work in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?+
Yes. In Abu Dhabi city the measurer comes about 30 minutes after you book. For Al Ain, Al Dhafra and the other emirates, send photos of the openings first and we agree the visit.
How do I clean a mosquito screen?+
Vacuum it on low power with a soft brush nozzle, then wipe with a damp sponge. Skip solvents and hard brushes, they damage the mesh.
Do you sell ultrasonic repellers or glaze balconies?+
No. We make and fit mosquito screens only: no ultrasonic devices, no balcony glazing and no awnings.
