What is built here
The residential part is apartments in complexes by the water, with townhouses and villas in the quarters behind. The glazing is contemporary and the balcony and terrace exits are sliding.
Proximity to the gulf gives the picture familiar from the coast: salt in the air, humidity higher than inland, and insects on still evenings around the greenery and the water.
The second difference from Al Reem is height. The building here is lower, the wind weaker, and the demands on rigidity gentler. But it is also less wind-swept, which means insects linger longer.
Third: many complexes have ground-level terraces opening onto a shared garden. Those are closed entirely, and pleated systems and ones with a lock along the edge work there.
Fourth: the building is new and uniform within a complex, so if a neighbour already has a screen, the same one will most likely fit you. At the survey that speeds up the costing.
