Double doors in Dubai villas, from the entrance to the majlis and the garden, come two ways. The leaves meet in the middle with nothing between them, or a fixed post stands between them.
With no post, two screen parts meet where the doors meet. With a post, each half is a small door of its own and gets its own single screen.

Will the screen get in the way of the door lock?+
No. It sits on the face of the frame the doors do not swing to, so the lock, handles and bolts work as before.
Can a trolley or wheelchair pass through?+
Yes. A hinged pair leaves the floor clear, and Double Centra has a low flat track that wheels roll over.
Is a double door the same as a French door?+
