If the frame is sound and only the mesh is torn, faded or loose, we keep the frame and fit new mesh. Rescreening is AED 200 per screen with standard grey or black mesh, AED 300 with metal and AED 350 with aluminium. A new screen would cost from AED 400 per m².

How a mosquito screen is rescreened
The old rubber spline comes out of the groove, and the torn mesh with it. The groove is cleaned of sand, or the new cord will not seat.
Then new mesh goes in with fresh cord. Tension decides the result: too tight bows the frame, too loose flaps in the wind.

Can your frame take new mesh?
Does the frame lie flat on the floor without rocking?
Good, it can be rescreened.
A twisted frame will not hold even tension. See frame repair first.
Are all four corners tight?
The frame is ready for new mesh.
Loose or cracked corners are fixed before rescreening.
Is the spline groove whole along every side?
New cord will seat well.
A split groove usually means a new frame.

A pleated screen with torn mesh
Pleated mesh is a folded panel on tension cords, not a flat sheet on a spline. It is priced after we see it.
Signs the mesh is finished
Mesh fails long before the frame. Sun makes fibreglass brittle and sand rubs it thin, while powder coated aluminium barely changes. The mesh fades first, then stiffens, then splits along the frame.
