What Dubai changes
A commercial screen here lives in harder conditions than a domestic one. A restaurant kitchen means constant temperature swings and grease in the air: the mesh clogs faster and has to be washed on a schedule rather than when somebody notices. A warehouse sits in an industrial area where sand comes off open yards every day, and fine mesh blocks within weeks.
The second difference is access. On a trading site fitting almost always happens outside opening hours: a restaurant is not closed so screens can go up, a hotel does not empty a floor. We work at night or in the early window before opening, and that is planned in advance rather than negotiated on the day.
The third is who handles the screen afterwards. In a home the owner takes it down and puts it back. On a site that job falls to staff who change, so the construction has to be one that cannot be reassembled wrongly. That pushes the choice towards simple, rigid systems wherever the opening allows.

Common ordering mistakes
Specifying domestic hardware for a through door. A mechanism rated for a few openings a day dies within a season on a restaurant kitchen, and you pay twice.
One system across the whole site. A hotel that fits the same thing on balconies and service doors overpays where something simple would do and suffers breakdowns where something heavier was needed.
Leaving maintenance out of the contract. Commercial screens need washing on a schedule; without that in the cleaning brief the mesh stops passing air within six months.
Booking fitting during trading hours. A lost shift costs more than the screens do.

Do you price by volume?
Yes, it is a separate calculation. A hundred-room hotel and a villa are priced by different rules, and the per-unit figure comes after we have seen the site.
Can you fit at night?
Yes, and on trading sites that is normal practice. The schedule is agreed in advance so we do not clash with a shift.
Do you invoice a company?
Yes, we work with legal entities and invoice with 5% VAT.
Who maintains the screens afterwards?
Washing usually sits with the site's cleaning contractor and we hand over the instructions. Repairs and mesh replacement stay with us.
What warranty applies on a commercial site?
2 years, as on domestic work. On through doors we note the duty cycle separately, because it affects the life of the mechanism.
