How anti-dust mosquito mesh works
The yarn is packed closer, so the gaps between threads are smaller. Blown sand stops at the surface, and more of the fine dust settles on the mesh instead of your floor.
It filters a window, it does not seal it. On a storm day close the glass: no mesh stops a shamal pushing dust through an open frame.
