Is the frame straight with tight corners?
New mesh is enough. The frame goes back where it was.
New mesh cannot sit tight on a bent frame. A new screen starts from AED 400 per m².
Is the damage one hole or tear?
We still replace the whole panel of mesh. A patch shows and leaves a weak spot.
Brittle mesh all over is a clear case for re-meshing.

Old mesh out
The fitter pulls the old spline and mesh from the frame channel.
Channel cleaned
Sand and old rubber come out so the new spline sits deep.
New mesh rolled in
The mesh is laid tight and a new spline is rolled into the channel.
Trimmed and refitted
Extra mesh is cut off and the screen goes back in and is tested.

New mesh on a twisted frame will not sit tight. A new screen is the better buy.
