What is built here
The island has three different kinds of client. Hotels and commercial premises, where screens are part of operations and fitting happens outside check-in hours. Residential apartments with balconies. And villas by the water and the golf course.
The island's exposure is the main physical feature. There is no dense building to damp the wind, and the flow arrives off the water freely. On terraces and large balconies ordinary screens get blown out, and there people fit systems with a lock along the edge.
Second: the golf courses and canals mean constant irrigation and standing water. In the evening there are more insects around them than in the dry parts of the island, and the complaints come mostly from there.
Third: the building is new, the profiles standard, and the fixing easy to choose.
Fourth: on the island's commercial premises the operating regime is hard, openings are used constantly, and domestic hardware does not survive there. That is a separate calculation.
