Is pollen filter mesh the same as anti-dust mesh?+
No. Anti-dust is a dense weave against sand that holds back part of the pollen. A pollen filter is a finer fabric made for allergy bedrooms.
Will a pollen screen stop my hay fever?+
We cannot promise that. It lowers the pollen that comes in through an open window; for treatment, see your doctor.
Does it keep mosquitoes out too?+
Yes. Openings small enough to hold back pollen are far too small for a mosquito or a midge.
Does a pollen filter cut the breeze?+
Yes, more than anti-dust mesh. It suits large bedroom windows and doors better than small vent windows.
How do I clean a pollen filter screen?+
Vacuum it on low power, then rinse with warm water and mild soap. No hard brushes, and let it dry fully.
