PVL Centra is a pleated mosquito screen for sliding doors and windows. Its cassette sits in the middle, where the two glass leaves meet, and the mesh draws out towards the side that opens. On a balcony or patio door it costs AED 1,550 per door from our price list.

How the Centra mosquito net works
Most Dubai apartments have sliding balcony doors: one fixed glass leaf and one that slides. The open gap is next to the middle of the frame, so that is where Centra keeps its cassette.
Pull the handle bar and the pleated mesh opens across the gap towards the jamb. Push it back and it folds into the cassette, leaving the view through both glass leaves clear.
- Mesh cell 0.8 × 0.8 mm keeps mosquitoes and small flies out
- Magnetic catch holds the bar closed at the jamb

Hinged or French doors
Centra is made for sliding frames. A pair of hinged doors is a job for hinged screen doors, fitted as a pair.
A small bathroom window
There is no room at the sides. Vertica opens top down and suits it better.
A corner of the terrace
Two sides meeting at 90° without a post are a job for Corner.
