“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Mosquito nets in Emirates Hills
Every villa in Emirates Hills was built to its own design, so no two openings share a size. Most owners want mosquito screens for the wide glass walls facing the Montgomerie golf course. Proxima pleated screens cover openings up to 8 m wide. A patio door is AED 1,550 per door, and larger glass is priced at the free survey.
Every villa built to its own drawings
Emaar sold Emirates Hills as bare plots, and each owner built a house to their own design. Neighbouring villas rarely share a window size, let alone a door.
The houses look over the 18-hole Montgomerie golf course, designed by Colin Montgomerie, and the lakes along its fairways. The biggest glass faces that view, and the fairways bring mosquitoes to it at dusk.

When pleated mosquito screens are not enough
Large houses have openings no pleated system covers.
Glass taller than 4 m
That is past the pleated limit. A motorised screen that drops from above is the option to talk about.
An open pool pavilion
There is no frame between the columns. Zip screens run in side channels instead.

Questions
What people ask
Can one pleated screen cover an 8 m glass wall?+
Yes. On the PVL 39 profile, Proxima spans 8 m at a height of 3 m. At 4 m high the span drops to 6 m.
How is the price set for a custom villa?+
A pleated screen on an ordinary patio door is AED 1,550 per door, and a window starts from AED 380. Very wide walls and corners are quoted once measured, at no charge.
Will the screens change the look of the house?+
The cassette sits in the frame reveal and the profile is coated to your frame colour, so the glazing looks the same from the garden.
Do you have a screen for a skylight or a glass roof?+
Yes, motorised screens for skylights. They are priced after the survey, plus 5% VAT.
Can the whole villa be measured in one visit?+
Yes. The measurer walks every room, and you get each opening with its system and price on one sheet.
How soon after the survey do you fit?+
3 to 5 days for standard systems, fitted by our own team. The frame warranty is 5 years.
