A majlis opens up in the evening
The majlis is where a villa receives guests, often with its own entrance and wide doors to the garden. Gatherings begin after sunset, when the air cools and the doors open.
That is also the hour mosquitoes come out, especially beside an irrigated lawn. Shutting the doors means cooling a room full of people with the air conditioning all night.
A pleated screen lets the doors stay open for hours. When the last guest leaves, the mesh folds into its cassette and the glass looks as if nothing was fitted.

Height tops out at 4.0 m, on PVL 39 with mesh overlap. The ratio of height to width decides what each door can take.

Garden doors, the guest entrance and any window you open. Each gets its own screen.
Decide where guests walk
If guests step out at the centre, Double Centra; if they use one end of the glass, Proxima.
Measure the height
Majlis doors are often tall. Up to 4.0 m a pleated screen works; above that, the measurer suggests another system.
Match the room
We powder coat the aluminium in your door frame colour and fit Italian hardware, so the screen belongs to the room.
