“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Ruwais homes: screens and screen doors
Visits to Ruwais are by arrangement, so we work photo first: you send photos and rough sizes on WhatsApp, we name the screens and prices from our list, then plan the visit. Window screens start from AED 380, a pleated screen on a sliding door is AED 1,550, new mesh in an old frame from AED 200.

A company town on the Gulf coast
Ruwais, officially Al Dhannah, is the industrial town of Al Dhafra on the Gulf coast. It grew around the Ruwais refinery and the plants of GASCO, Fertil and Borouge.
People live in the Ruwais Housing Complex, about 10 km from the plants, with its own shops, schools, clinic, hospital and beach club. Many homes are company housing, so changes go through the housing office.
Pricing a mosquito net from photos
Is the whole window or door in the photo?
Good. We can see the type of opening and which screen fits.
Step back and take it again, frame edges included.
Did you add a width and height?
Then we can give you the price from our list.
A tape measure across and up is enough. We measure again on site.
Is there a close photo of the frame edge?
It shows whether a cassette or a frame screen will sit on it.
One close shot of the corner helps us bring the right parts.

Screens come from the same list as in Dubai: a window from AED 380, a pleated sliding door AED 1,550. We confirm the full cost before the visit.
Do I need permission to fit screens in company housing?+
Ask your housing office first. The frames are fixed with screws, so they should agree.
