“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Mosquito nets in Fujairah
Yes, we fit mosquito nets in Fujairah and come from our Dubai office. Homes here sit between the Gulf of Oman and the Hajar foothills, so hinged yard doors and windows need screens as much as balcony doors in city flats. Send photos on WhatsApp first. Window screens start from AED 380, hinged screen doors from AED 810.

Fujairah: the Gulf of Oman coast
Fujairah is the only emirate whose coast lies entirely on the Gulf of Oman. The Hajar Mountains ring it and bring more rain than the rest of the UAE gets.
Inland, Wadi Wurayah keeps fresh water in streams, pools and a waterfall all year. Still fresh water is where mosquitoes breed, so yard doors and windows need screens too.

What a mosquito screen will not do
Better to know before the trip.
Keep all dust out
Standard mesh stops insects, not fine dust. Anti-dust mesh at AED 800 per m² catches more but needs washing more often.
Lock a yard door
A screen door keeps insects out. It is not a security door, so the main door still gets locked at night.
