“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Mosquito nets in Hatta
Hatta is Dubai's mountain town, about 134 km from the city in the Hajar Mountains. The survey is free here as in all of Dubai, but we start with photos on WhatsApp so one planned trip covers the job. Hinged screen doors start from AED 810, window screens from AED 400 per m².

Wadis, farms and the dam
Hatta is an inland part of Dubai, about 330 m up in the Hajar Mountains, with Hatta Dam, wadis and date palm farms. It is less humid than the coast and much cooler in winter.
Cooler nights keep windows open longer than in the city, and water in the wadis and farms lets mosquitoes breed. Newer family villas built for the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment stand beside older farmhouses.

Photos for a mosquito net quote
Can you hold a tape measure across the full width of the frame in the photo?
We can price from the photo.
Send the width and height in centimetres as a message.
Does the door swing on hinges, like a back door to the farm?
A hinged screen door with a closer suits it.
For sliding glass, we quote a pleated or sliding screen.
Is the house older, with thick walls and deep window reveals?
A frame screen can sit inside the reveal. The measurer confirms the depth.
The screen fixes to the window frame in the usual way.
