Can your screen frame be saved?
Measure both diagonals, corner to corner. Are they the same?
The frame is square. Corners and the handle can be fixed, and the frame stays.
The frame is skewed. It seldom comes back fully straight, so a new screen fits better.
Is the profile free of white powder, rust and cracks?
Cleaning and fresh powder coating renew it.
New coating will not hold on it. Replace the screen.
Does the frame colour clash with your windows?
Powder coat it to the window RAL at AED 250 per running metre.
Keep the colour and fix only what is broken.

Running metres are the four sides added up. A 1.0 × 1.0 m screen has 4 m of profile, so coating it costs AED 1,000.

When the frame has to go
We measure the opening again and make a new aluminium screen, coated in your RAL colour, usually 3 to 5 days after the survey. It carries 5 years on the frame, 2 on the mechanism and 2 on fitting.
On high floors in Marina or JLT the shamal presses hard on screens. Reinforced mesh and firm fixings help a new frame stay square for longer.
