“The roller mechanism on our existing net broke. They replaced it with a new upgraded system that rolls smoother and locks in place better. Much better than the original.”

Mosquito nets in Business Bay
Business Bay is a district of towers along the Dubai Creek extension, where the Dubai Water Canal begins. In a flat here the balcony door is the main way in for mosquitoes, and a pleated screen closes it for AED 1,550 per door. Cafés and offices at street level take hinged screen doors with a closer, from AED 810.

Towers along the water
Business Bay, a Dubai Properties project, covers 4.36 km² around a new stretch of Dubai Creek. In 2016 the 3.2 km Dubai Water Canal opened, running from here to the sea past Safa Park.
More than half of the planned floor space is mixed use, so homes, offices and hotels often share one tower. Many balconies look over the water and the walkways beside it.

Which opening needs a mosquito net
Does your balcony door slide to one side only?
Uno folds the mesh toward that same side, out of your way.
If the door opens from the middle, ask about Centra.
Is the screen for a shop, café or office door?
A hinged screen door with a closer shuts behind every guest. See commercial screens.
For a home, a pleated screen is lighter and folds away.
Is the door wider than a normal balcony door?
Double Centra meets in the middle, from AED 1,550. Proxima covers one long run and is priced at the survey.
One pleated panel at AED 1,550 covers it.

What we would not fit here
Two requests we talk people out of.
A pleated screen on a café entrance
Pleated mesh is gentle. A doorway with deliveries and trolleys needs a hinged screen door with a kick plate.
A screen fixed to the facade
In a tower we fit inside the door frame, not on the outside wall, so the look of the building stays as it was.

What people ask
How much is a screen for a canal view balcony door?+
AED 1,550 per door for a pleated screen, or from AED 670 for a sliding one.
Do you fit screens in cafés and offices in Business Bay?+
Yes. Hinged screen doors with a closer for kitchen and service doors from AED 810, and motorised screens for wide openings.
Will the screen fold away when I want the full view of the canal?+
Yes. Push the bar back and the pleated mesh folds into a slim cassette by the edge of the frame.
Does my tower need to approve the work?+
Many towers ask for notice or a contractor permit. Ask building management first, and we send the screen type, size and colour for the form.
Is the measuring visit free in Business Bay?+
