Do mosquito screens really work?
Yes, when the mesh is whole and the screen closes the opening with no gaps. Mosquitoes do not get through intact mesh; they come in through torn corners, gaps at the frame, a screen left open or an opening with no screen at all. When bites continue behind screens, look for one of these first.

Why a mosquito screen keeps them out
A mosquito cannot squeeze through mesh woven smaller than its body. Standard mesh is made for exactly that, and our pleated mesh has a 0.8 × 0.8 mm cell.
What a screen cannot stop is an insect that goes around it. The mesh is only as good as its edges: the frame, the seals and whether it is shut.

Not through whole mesh. They get in through tears, gaps at the edges or openings left unscreened.
Do screens keep out flies and dust too?+
Flies, yes. Dust only in part: fine dust passes standard mesh, and anti-dust mesh at AED 800 per m² holds back more.
Are fitted screens better than a kit?+

Do screens block the breeze?+
