Magnetic mosquito net or a fitted screen?
A magnetic mosquito net is fine for a door you rarely open or a flat you rent for one season. For a door left open all evening, a fitted screen holds up: a pleated screen at AED 1,550 per door, or a hinged screen door with a closer from AED 810. We do not sell or fit magnetic nets.

What people call a magnetic mosquito net
Most often it is a shop curtain: two halves of mesh fabric with magnets sewn down the middle, fixed round the door frame with hook-and-loop tape or adhesive.
Some sellers also offer a mesh door that closes onto magnets in its frame. We make and fit neither of them, so this page compares both with the screens we do fit.

Why magnetic nets wear out in Dubai
Tape and adhesive soften on a door that takes the summer sun, and the strips start to peel away. In a shamal the light fabric billows and sweeps sand along the floor.
