What is built here
Al Majaz is built with residential towers along the waterfront and quarters behind them. The towers have typical flats with balconies facing the water and the park.
The lagoon and the park together give what dry quarters do not have: constant humidity and greenery, and therefore a stable mosquito population. In the evening on the lower and middle floors it is distinctly felt, and most requests from here are about exactly that.
Second: the waterfront is exposed and the wind off the water arrives unobstructed. On a balcony door that means a light fixing will not hold and the fabric will be pushed out of the channel.
Third: balconies in the towers here are more often narrow and drawn out along the facade. A pleated cassette goes at the end so it does not eat into the passage, and at the survey that is settled in a minute.
Fourth, and practical: in the older Al Majaz towers the windows and doors come from different construction years and the profiles differ from building to building. The fixing method is chosen on site.

Third is fabric, which in the district's older towers has been in place a long time and has already lost its elasticity. In Al Majaz, more often than in newer quarters, people come for re-meshing rather than a new installation.
